Ways & Means Committee (Georgia House)
The House Ways & Means Committee is a 30 member legislative body consisting of a chairman, a vice-chairman, a secretary, two ''ex officio'', and 25 members. ==Scope and jurisdiction==
The House Ways & Means Committee is responsible for writing the state's tax law. The Committee derives its largest share of jurisdiction directly from the state Constitution, which declares; "All Bills for raising Revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives."〔
